Example copy for the Newsletter. The Annual Board Meeting will be held in October 2017 at the Ballardsville Fire Station 1 in Ballardsville. At the meeting, we will be holding elections for representatives to serve on the Board. There are advantages to having residents of the neighborhood association serve on the board rather than hiring a management company. With local management, dues can be held to a very reasonable level, issues that arise with neighbors can be addressed personally without resorting to hardline tactics, and each resident is important - not just a lot number in a management company's listing. But we need you to help keep management local by serving on the Board. The time commitment to serve is nominal - about 12 hours per year.
Not quite ready to be a Board Member? We are always looking for residents who want to serve on a committee or chair a new community activity. Just let us know what you are interested in doing!
